Saturday Ryan's family spent the day with us. Cheryl got some rest, and the kids went to the Oneida County Fair. We all had fun. The kids got a day pass to the carnival, which was poor compared to anything we had in California. But even Sadie seemed to enjoy it. The rides were too young for Tess and Tayli, but they were great sports and helped their sibs have fun. The day was hot and very windy. The worst day I can remember for the wind. The rodeo was just okay. I sure hope next years is better. The worst part of the day was that our camera just wouldn't work, so no pictures of anything. The best part is enjoying the company of our family. The kids were great, and we always eat too much.
This weekend we are getting a new Stake President, and Apostle Robert Hales is the one who will be here to choose a new one. Because Rex is a bishop, he gets a 10-minute interview with Elder Hales on Saturday with all the other bishops and High Councilors. He is looking forward to that.

So...how did it go with Elder Hales?
Bummer about your camera! That's when all the fun things happen...right when the camera won't work! Hope it's working again soon!
